Logged onto my bank account yesterday to discover the bank took a payment for my line of credit which I was *not* anticipating until mid-month (considering that's when they took the payment last time). By miracle of miracles, my dad remembered a guy from church that does carpet cleaning for a living. He was gracious enough to come out on Monday to do the job ---- and what's more is that he wasn't even going to charge me for it! So the guy who lived in the apartment before me was supposed to shampoo the carpet. I was present when the landlady and him had that conversation. Today, I went down there to sign the lease and get the keys. I just got a phone call this evening from the landlady who showed me the bachelor suite a few weeks ago. She informed me that a 1-bedroom will be available July 1st in the building I originally wanted to get into.
So....I'm going over there to check it out tomorrow after work.
